description
The first holidaymakers arrived in the seaside resort in 1969. Postcards from this period give a glimpse of the landscape in the early 1970s. The first residences built by architect George Candilis resembled Greek architecture. The port, the holiday villages and the Kyklos complex were the resort's first living spaces.
